Morphowave™: redefining access control with contactless biometric readers
In today’s fast-paced world, ensuring secure and efficient access control is paramount. IDEMIA’s MorphoWave™ technology offers a solution that combines security with user convenience.
The evolution of contactless biometric readers
Traditional access control systems often require physical contact, which can be a concern in high-traffic areas. MorphoWave™ addresses this by enabling users to authenticate with a simple wave of the hand, capturing four fingerprints in less than a second. This touchless approach not only enhances hygiene but also streamlines the user experience.
Morphowave™ SP and XP: tailored solutions for diverse needs
IDEMIA offers two variants to cater to different requirements:
- Morphowave™ SP: Designed for organizations seeking essential features, this model supports up to 10,000 user records. Its simplified interface, featuring multicolor LED indicators, ensures straightforward operation. The device efficiently handles wet, dry, or damaged fingerprints, making it versatile for various environments.
- Morphowave™ XP: For more demanding applications, the XP model offers extended performance, accommodating up to 100,000 user records and processing up to 60 individuals per minute. It boasts a large color touchscreen for enhanced user interaction and supports time and attendance functionalities.
Integrating MorphoWave™ into modern access control systems
Both MorphoWave™ SP and XP seamlessly integrate with existing access control infrastructures. They natively support various card technologies, including HID Prox, iClass, MIFARE, and DESFire, as well as mobile access solutions. Additionally, they can scan printed QR codes, facilitating visitor management.
By adopting MorphoWave™, organizations can enhance security while providing a frictionless experience for users. This technology exemplifies how innovation in biometric solutions can meet the evolving demands of access control.
