MSO 1350 emirates - Emirates ID Card
Quote from Helen on 04/21/2020, 5:21 pmHi,
I'm trying to do Smartpass registration with my MSO 1350 but the process of registration fails everytime when scanning the finger. Do you have any experience on this with the UAE governmental process? The call center could not help me. ([Error 50 ETSTATUS_CAPTURE_IMAGE_ERROR] An error occurred when processing the card information.)
Can you help?

Thanks for your enquiry.
Might be a firmware or driver issue.
Which version of sensor are you currently using?

Signing digitally, using the UAE PASS app is easy. You can either upload and sign a document on the app or on the UAE Pass website or sign a virtual document to complete an official transaction. To sign on the app, you need to upload a document, sign it and then share it. And, if someone shares a signed document with you, you can instantly verify it on the app or even on the UAE Pass website.

Quote from royascubberr on 06/08/2023, 2:23 pmI'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with the Smartpass registration process using your MSO 1350 device. While I can provide some general guidance, it's important to note that I don't have specific information on the latest updates or changes to the UAE governmental process. However, I can offer some troubleshooting steps that might help:
- Ensure proper device connection: Make sure that your MSO 1350 device is correctly connected to your computer or mobile device. Check the USB cable or any other interface used for connectivity.
- Update drivers and software: Visit the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers and software for your MSO 1350 device. Install any updates available to ensure compatibility with the registration process.
- Restart the device and computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Try restarting both your MSO 1350 device and the computer or mobile device you're using for the registration process.
- Use a different USB port: If you're using a USB connection, try using a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes, certain ports may not provide sufficient power or encounter connectivity issues.
- Check for conflicting software: Ensure that there are no other applications or software running in the background that might interfere with the registration process. Temporarily disable antivirus software or any other security tools to see if it resolves the issue.
- Try on a different computer: If possible, attempt the registration process on a different computer to rule out any system-specific issues.
- Contact the MSO 1350 support: Reach out to the manufacturer or vendor of your MSO 1350 device for further assistance. They should be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or guidance tailored to your device.
- Reach out to UAE government support: While the call center may not have been able to assist you, consider reaching out to the UAE government's dedicated support channels for Smartpass registration. They may be able to provide further guidance or escalate the issue to the appropriate department.
Please keep in mind that the specific steps or recommendations may vary based on the exact circumstances and requirements of the registration process. It's always advisable to consult official sources or contact the relevant authorities for the most up-to-date and accurate guidance.
